I work for a local Heating and Air Conditioning contractor, but i have worked for the Heating and Air Conditioning contractor for about two years now and for the most part I really like my job, and however, there are times like any job that I hate it.
The thing that I hate the most about my job is making cabin calls, and when you walk into a customer’s house, they are usually really exasperated because their Heating and Air Conditioning system isn’t working.
It is honestly sparse that you make a cabin call when the client is in a fine mood. I have also realized that most people do not keep their homes clean. I never thought of myself as a super wipe person, however after making these Heating and Air Conditioning cabin calls I know that I am. I went to one cabin last weekend and I guess the owner of the cabin was a hoarder. There was so much garbage blocking the door to the Heating and Air Conditioning device that I had to ask the owner of the cabin to transfer it. It was really awkward and he had a really bad attitude about everything else after I asked his to transfer the trash. I really hope that one day I can transfer into a managing position at the Heating and Air Conditioning contractor so can stop making cabin calls all the time. Having to make the cabin calls gives me really bad anxiety and I have told my boss this many times. I really hope that I will get a raise sometime soon!
