I’m getting a bit of a late beginning today, as the time change a couple afternoons ago threw me for a loop.
I find myself going to bed later than before, so I recognize I will need a couple afternoons to adjust to the hour time difference now that Springtime has begun.
It was super windy here two afternoons ago and I told my friends on the beach that it usually means there is going to be a change in the weather. And it looks like I was right because today it is much colder and cloudier than before. Heating is needed today, when just two afternoons ago I was thinking about turning on my cooling system for the first time this year. I didn’t run it, but the temps were almost to the point where it warranted having some cool air circulate throughout the flat during the peak of the heat that afternoon. Now it is about 50F outside and I am thinking about turning on the electric furnace for a bit to warm up my bones. I am going to go buy this small drum today I think, which will cost me $130, despite the fact that I think it will be a wonderful thing to buy for my band. The local company selling it held the drum for me a few afternoons ago when I came in to prefer their ice cold a/c on that warm afternoon, and now I feel obligated to buy it because I told them to save it for me. I recognize I’ll go there in an hour and buy the darn thing.
