Wedding ceremony with no heat

The management refused to spend money for heating that would simply escape outside.

I recently attended a small ceremony that was held at a boutique eating establishment in the heart of downtown. Since the people I was with and I live in the northeastern section of the country, it was a bit daring to schedule a ceremony in early February. Our Winter time weather is severe & unpredictable. On the day of the ceremony, the outside temperature plummeted to twelve degrees below zero & it was snowing like crazy, and all of us accumulated multiple inches of snow within an hour & the roads were nearly impossible to navigate. I was forced to drive fifteen miles an hour the whole way to the eating establishment. I kept my heating system & defrost blasting the whole time & still had difficulty keeping the windshield clear, however because of excessive amounts of snow, it was difficult to find a place to park. I didn’t want to get my car stuck. I ended up walking several blocks to reach the eating establishment, then considering I was wearing a dress & high-heels & carrying a bulky present, this was an ordeal. I was actually worried to get inside the heated site. When I arrived, I discovered the eating establishment was congested with smoke. To create ambience for the ceremony, someone decided to light a fire in the fireplace. They neglected to open the flu & the eating establishment filled with smoke. To air the place out, they then opened up windows & doors. The management refused to spend money for heating that would simply escape outside. With no heating, the eating establishment was frosty cold. All of the guests were huddled near the fireplace, trying to take advantage of the heat. The bride & her bridesmaids wore their coats for the ceremony.
