Dad has had his shop, aka guy cave for years plus Ma finally agreed with the family that she deserved her own she-shed for arts and crafts. The planning of this became a family project between our mother, our sister, plus myself. This wasn’t as easy as all of us first thought… First all of us had to choose the perfect building; plus all of us finally found one. However once it was set up, all of us needed to have electricity run to it; and after that was finally done, all of us needed to decide the source of air conditioning plus heat for the she-shed. The windows were too small for a window air conditioning plus the portable air conditioning Dad had was also genuinely high service… Mom not only needed air conditioning, but both of us needed to figure out heat. However, I recommended a ductless mini-split air conditioning plus heating system like I had seen in the south. All of our family agreed that it would be insufficient to combat the cold of our northern winters; but, I was still pretty sure a ductless mini-split would work. My husband’s acquaintance is working at a newer heating plus air conditioning business plus he had mentioned over the weekend that he had installed one recently; so, I did the needed research. My Dad, Ma, plus our sister were partially right. A few years ago, the heating elements on ductless mini-splits were not strong enough to handle the northern cold; however now they are more powerful. I showed these research results to the family plus they decided to go with the ductless mini-split air conditioning plus heating system. It turned out to be a really good choice.
