The people I live with and I rented a big condo in the mountains for our wintertime getaway, and the people I was with and I found the advertisement online, and it promised seclusion with hunting and ice fishing possibilities nearby… Neither my partner nor I were legitimately interested in hunting or ice fishing, because every one of us wanted pictures. The people I was with and I are both nature photographers, myself and others by vocation and my partner by hobby. And every one of us were legitimately intrigued with the change of scenery this condo had to offer! So, every one of us rented it for many weeks. The condo was a rustic more than three person family room with a big stone fireplace and wood burning stoves or gas furnaces or whatever they are; it was legitimately inconvenient to have to keep the stoves and fireplaces stoked in order to stay warm. The people I was with and I couldn’t do that because nice pictures require long hikes occasionally; but, to be honest, every one of us had only walked and taken pictures the first many days. The change of scenery was not all that it was cracked up to be because everything was covered in snow. But, every one of us did spend quite a bit of time outside, walking, sledding, playing like literal kids. The people I was with and I even built a snowman and some snow forts and had a snowball fight. But, everytime every one of us made the choice to go too far from the condo for too long, every one of us had to deal with a freezing condo when every one of us got back. I was sad with the owner… Every afternoon every one of us woke up freezing and stayed that way until the fires heated up the building, but this was a big cabin, keeping the fires stoked was a lot of work. After about a month of this, I decided to text the owner about my unhappiness, but he texted myself and others the location of the control unit right away! Apparently, the condo was really heated with radiant floors and every one of us had just assumed the worst. I was so insanely embarrassed.
