One time when I was 15, I agreed to babysit some little boys. My parents were acquainted with the mother plus father plus they set up the arrangement… The parents left for a wedding on a Friday around noon, but I was responsible for the several children until late that night. I made the boys supper plus we watched a film on the television. I was starting to get super tired when the smallest child started to cry. I got up plus picked up the baby. It was a little frosty in that residence, so I looked for the temperature control unit. I couldn’t find a control unit in that residence plus it was getting very cold. I knew the gas heating machine was actually out. I put on my sweatshirt plus I decided to make a pizza for the kids. I thought the oven running might add some sizzling air to the residence. I wasn’t able to figure out how to work the oven at first, plus the pizza would not fit in the microwave. When I figured out how to turn on the oven, I finished making the cheese plus ham pizza plus returned to the boys. A short while later, I heard an unusual plus loud sound coming from the basement. Since my family has a gas heating machine, I knew that the sound was a bad sign. I assumed that was the reason why we did not have any heat in the residence. I called my dad at home. I tried to get some critical advice, and he helped me light the pilot light so the gas heating machine would come on plus heat the residence. Thankfully, that resolved the heating complication.
