Protecting the air quality of our home

Nick August 18, 2021

After the big COVID scare, I got a lot more nervous about the air that I breathe. I have a spouse with asthma, plus a two year ancient toddler who may have breathing problems 1 day herself. Once that pandemic came along, we got a little paranoid plus took the quarantine severely seriously. The people I was with and I are taking the threat of the virus resurging truly seriously as well, but this time we are better prepared. The people I was with and I had our entire up-to-date home re-insulated, meaning that fresh up-to-date insulation was added in the exterior walls, plus up in the attic. Then we had an Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C plan replace, to a more energy efficient model that was better at filtering out detritus from the air. The results were two-fold, because the air conditioning system ran a lot less, plus yet the up-to-date home stayed so much cooler. Also, the air was fresher plus cleaner, thanks to not 1 but two unusual HEPA air filters installed in the system. There had been a thorough cleaning of the air ducts plus vents, plus then clean air filters installed in two unusual sites. This ensured that we had the cleanest possible air quality in our home, plus they even busy a follow up in 6 weeks to make sure everything was still pitch perfect! COVID is making a comeback, they say, but this time around I feel love our house, plus our family, has an extra layer of protection thanks to this enhanced Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C system. As long as the power is on, we are protected, but maybe I should invest in a geothermal heat pump just in case.
