It always disappoints me when a company or store puts so much effort into their products but can’t even have a decent heating and cooling system.
It just doesn’t make sense to me how they could not understand that the indoor air quality is just as important.
No customers are interested in poor indoor air quality. Why would they go so far to make everything else nice but completely ignore the heating and air conditioning system? This is a question that I do believe I can answer, when it comes to Heating and cooling it seems like most people do not think about it unless it is broken or damaged. Obviously if it is a very hot summer day and there is no AC then people are quick to notice. In the same way that if it was very cold outside and there was no heat nobody wants to go without heat and it’s all anybody can think about. However if the HVAC system is working, even if it is not very well people tend to forget about it. As a result the heating and cooling system doesn’t get the important tune-ups and cleanings that it needs and this can lead to clogs and dirt getting in the air. Dirt in the air hurts the indoor air quality, which then hurts the business. When I went to an ice cream shop only yesterday, I noticed this. Testing was amazing but the air in there was like breathing in sand. I would have made a comment about it to the manager and he said he’d look into it. I went back again today and I noticed that they had fixed the problem.
