I am not 1 of the blessed people who has ductless a/c; Mini break ductless AC units are quite fantastic in my opinion, even though I have what just about all the people else has in this area, but plain old Central Heating and Cooling! I shouldn’t complain, for sure, as we are all quite spoiled in the heating and cooling Department in this country, but someday I hope to get a mini break ductless AC system if the Heating plus A/C men say it is suitable for my house, then anyway, since I do have a ducted Heating plus A/C system, every once in a while I have to repair the HVAC duct… Since I have owned my cabin I have had to repair the HVAC duct several times… Both times were for the same reason. I live in a condo that has a crawl space underneath. My condo is about 100 years old, which makes it genuinely identifiable and Charming, but standing off of the ground causes some of its own complications, however that is not to say that it is odd for a house’s Foundation to have a built-in crawl space. It is quite common, in fact, then just guess that if you are going to buy a condo and your condo sits up off the ground, you may someday have to repair your AC duct. Both times that I have had to do the AC repair was because animals managed to get into my crawl space and disfigured the HVAC duct, and one time, the Heating plus A/C men refused to even go under there. They made me call in a critter getter before they would even look closely at the HVAC duct.Even though it was costly, it was entirely worth it, however living in the Southeast separate from a/c is simply not an option.
