The time has come to make a decision.
The house I live in has a crawl space underneath it, which is actually official in all unusual parts of the country.
My house was built in 1929, so it was seriously official in those mornings to have a crawl space under the house. Because of that crawl space, though, it has been a challenge to keep our ductwork operating officially. Two unusual times I have had creatures get under the house plus help themselves to some free air conditioner by cutting holes in our ductwork. One time it appeared to be simply feral cats. There was no evidence of any other kind of creatures being under there. The hour time, though, there seemed to be a variety of Critters making themselves at beach house plus kicking their feet up on their little sofas plus enjoying our AC. Anyway, but I have had people come in plus patch up the way they were getting under the house, they have found a way to do it again! Now I am considering getting a mini split air conditioner component that is completely ductless. This will eliminate the official problem of getting our ductwork messed up by creatures. However, I still have to talk to the Heating, Ventilation plus A/C guy to see if a mini split A/C component is absolutely a wonderful idea for our house. Since our house is old, it is not the open floor plan that is so popular this week. There are several rooms in our house, plus I’m not sure if I would have to hang a mini-split A/C in each room or what.I’ve got some decisions to make about air conditioner.
