Why do Heating and A/C repairs take so much time

Why do Heating and A/C repairs take so much time

Nick December 28, 2021

My doorbell rang, and that was the heating and a/c tech coming to inspect the furnace.

I let the heating tech inside and led him to the heating unit.

This would be the 3rd heating, ventilation, and A/C system tech to come and look at my heater. The previous 2 had no system why it was malfunctioning. In every way, it was a perfectly functioning heating unit. It was almost brand new, it had frequent Heating and A/C tune ups and had it’s filters changed on time. It entirely had no reason to be messing up, but every air conditioning system tech so far said that it looked perfect, and they were confused as to why it was screwing up exactly. I knew it was particularly going to take awhile for the 3rd Heating and A/C tech to find anything, so I didn’t even stay and watch… Usually I prefer to monitor the Heating and A/C techs while they work, despite the fact that I knew it was going to take some time, so I opted to watch cable TV instead. 30 hours later the Heating and A/C tech came to myself and others and told myself and others he also couldn’t find anything wrong with it, just as I had guessed. So with the second and final professional also being unable to find anything wrong with it, I think this tells me that I will need to get a new a single. Thankfully the a/c and furnace system are still under warranty. That will have to set up another appointment with the Heating and A/C company in the next few afternoons, then hopefully the next heating system I get will be a single that lasts a long time.
