Ductwork fail turns into ductless HVAC triumph

Not only did it save time, money and hassle, it’s the best quality heating and air I’ve ever experienced

I really, really love being a homeowner. It’s still hard for me to really get my head around the fact that I’m no longer renting. Apartment life just wasn’t for me. Perhaps had I lived in a more upscale place with great quality heating and air, I might have felt differently. That just wasn’t the case though. In order to save for a downpayment on a house, I had to live in a very economical housing situation. But all that poor heating and cooling, loud neighbors and cramped quarters is a thing of the past. My new house may not be huge or fancy but it’s mine. And I finally have all that quality heating and air that I’ve wanted for such a long time. Although my heating and cooling situation did not come without some challenge. Initially, my plan was to replace the central air conditioning unit and simply move on. But the HVAC contractor found that the ductwork failed inspection and wasn’t up to the job. So I faced a decision. Either I ripped out all that ductwork and started over or I went with the ductless heat pumps. It really was a no brainer once the HVAC contractor introduced me to the ductless multi split option for heating and cooling my home. Not only did it save time, money and hassle, it’s the best quality heating and air I’ve ever experienced. In a way, I’m sort of glad that the ductwork wasn’t up to snuff because I really love the ductless heat pumps in my new home.
