The other day a friend of mine was talking about a baseboard heater.
They had an old one that was almost 40 years old and they wanted to get a new a one, I never heard of baseboard heaters before, at first I thought she may have been talking about a ductless mini split air conditioning plan that was converted into a full on ductless mini split heating and cooling unit; But that was not the case.
I looked up some of these baseboard heaters online and they were quite interesting! I did not know how useful they could be. After looking at them and what they can do, I think I may buy one myself. They are the same concept as a portable space heater but they are not portable and they mount on the baseboard of your rooms in your home. The energy use is still less than running a central heating and air conditioning plan unit, so you get some kind of savings with these baseboard heaters, and my friend is going to buy a new one and I think I am going to buy more than one for the first time. I will be putting one in the living room area and one in the bedroom. I will buy two different kinds of baseboard heaters, and one to cover a greater space which is more expensive and one to cover a small space for the living room which is cheaper. I guess this form of heating will be fine for me this winter time with as freezing as it is going to get. It will save me from having to run the central heat and air conditioning system unit.
