Next week whenever the HVAC company sends someone to fix my gas furnace for me, I’m not going to be at home.
I know that I should probably just reschedule the whole thing, but it’s taken me a couple of weeks to get put on their furnace repair schedule anyway and I’m afraid I will be without a furnace for another month if I do! It’s been so cold around here lately that I just don’t want to have to worry about my furnace not working anymore.
I’ve been having to deal with using a little electric space heater in my bedroom every single night because it’s been so cold in my house. I don’t know what else to do other than just let the HVAC company come in without me being at home. I think that it will probably be fine and that they will just come in, fix my furnace, and leave, but I’m also very paranoid. I just have issues with thinking that the HVAC technician will be going through all my stuff and robbing me while I’m at work. That’s probably not going to happen and I’m probably just worrying about nothing. I know that the HVAC company is licensed and insured and they probably do background checks on all of the HVAC technicians, too. I think that I will just keep my appointment after all and just see what happens. At least I will have a well functioning furnace system out of it, even if I do end up missing some of my stuff afterwards!
