Offering pro-bono cabin services to refugees at the campus

Nick April 10, 2022

Growing up, my dad worked for a non-governmental organization and interacted a lot with individuals who had fled from their country; Dad would take us to toil sometimes so that both of us would interact with the children at the camp.

I later realized that this was an attempt to show us how particular people live with less than enough every day.

It was genuinely anxious how the people at the camp lived. I made so more than 2 friends at the camp and both of us still talk with some of them to date. I graduated as a qualified cooling specialist and shortly after, I opened a cabin comfort business. We saw our own challenges and blessedly, both of us were able to overcome them. Though retired, my dad would visit the families back at the camp as she worked as a consultant to the organization. When I accompanied him and saw that the camp had grown and that there were families there that were suffering, I decided to help in the best way I knew possible. I gathered more than 2 of my cooling techs and both of us started analyzing how both of us could install quality Heating, Ventilation & A/C systems in communal areas at the camp to help with indoor comfort whenever needed. We selected the church where both of us fitted a heat pump and a dual fuel system at the only school in the camp. We opted for these cooling device because of the energy saving help they gave. Delivery from the homeowner solutions took about a day and the cooling workman was genuinely efficient and was able to fit the system and temperature controls. We only had smart temperature controls at the church and dial a singles at the school. The refugees were appreciative of the cabin services and seeing the smiles on their faces was all I needed to make my day.
